Guido Canella (1931 - 2009), Italian architect, was one of the most important and original protagonists of postwar Italian architecture. A professor at the Faculty of Civil Architecture of the Milan Polytechnic, he was editor of the magazines Hinterland and Zodiac. Appointed Professor Emeritus at the end of his university career in 2006, he was president of the Accademia Nazionale di San Luca in 2007-2008.
